The Fanuc RJ2 controller incorporates the unique "Softparts and Sockets" concept, which allows application-specific configurations while maintaining a consistent look and feel for those who work with the system. The ergonomically-designed lightweight teach pendant features a large, easy-to-read backlit LCD display. The RJ2 features a multi-tasking operating system that allows execution of up to four concurrent user programs. The auxiliary axes option can support up to three separate motion groups; each with its own control program and simple kinematic models.
The R-J2 features advanced sensing and vision capabilities, as well as advanced communications and networking capabilities. The rapid teach pendant response time maximizes efficiency. The RJ2 also features an extensive line of compact I/O modules for both digital and analog signal capability.
Expanded performance is achieved through the used of maximum trigger accuracy that increases repeatability and improves process control. TurboMove achieves high robot acceleration and deceleration by using robot dynamics and payload. This shortens cycle times and maximizes production throughput. IntelliTrak incorporates speed, payload, and robot dynamics for optimal path accuracy and corner rounding. It also minimizes speed variation.
